I created this a graph that tracked the number of femicides in Argentina from 2008 to 2017. It also includes data on deaths related to primary femicides, where either the victim was in the line of fire or was killed in an attempt to kill someone that the woman holds dear. All of the data from the graph comes from La Casa del Encuentro, a Buenos Aires-based organization that records data on femicide and women's healthcare, among other things. This graph was published in the explainer piece I wrote on la Ley Brisa (Brisa's Law) during my journalism residency with Chequeado.
